By eating healthily and getting involved in fun activity you can not only lose weight but also enjoy things that weren’t comfortable doing before.
Losing weight can increase your levels of fitness and mobility and at the same time reduce pressures you may have felt previously, such as back and joint pain.
People who have lost weight also have more energy and feel less tired allowing them to try new things and be more active.
Some benefits of losing weight are easy to notice such as; no longer snoring, improved complexion, and a reduction of sweatiness and chafed skin. Some benefits however are not visible and may take a little longer to notice the effects of.

- Some cancers, e.g. breast, colon, stomach
- High blood pressure
- High blood cholesterol
Being overweight can also have a negative effect on reproductive health by reducing your sex drive, lowering sperm count, and can result in erectile dysfunction in men.
Weight Loss, achieved with healthy lifestyle changes however, can often result in improved sexual satisfaction and fertility.
