Group Session - Why Weight?


Why Weight? delivers a Fun, Free and Friendly weight management programme in Hull. The programme promotes changes to what we eat and how it is cooked as well as the benefits of increased physical activity.


Who the service is for?


This programme is open to most men and women aged 18 – 74, living in Hull or with a Hull doctor.


What support do we offer?


We explain and demonstrate:

  • What a healthy balanced diet is and how to achieve a healthy diet by making small changes
  • How to choose the right foods, read food labels and use cooking methods to produce healthy food
  • Cook, taste and exercise sessions

How long does the service run for?


The Why Weight? Programme runs for ten weeks, each weekly session lasts for two hours.
