Obesity is high on the public health agenda in Hull with almost 1 in 5 men and 1 in 4 women falling under the category of obese.


Part of this is due to the fact that only 29% of men and 24% of women in Hull take the recommended 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise, 5 days a week.


Despite these figures, many people do want to lose weight but aren’t sure how to do it.


Hull’s City Healthcare Partnership offers three services plus the Ready To Lose Weight online programme to empower people in Hull to take more control of their weight.


The Active Lifestyles, Why Weight? and Health Trainer services, along with the online programme are FREE and accessible across the city (Health Professional Referral Form).


Each service is structured and run differently to cater for a wide range of needs.
